Dear Dr. 方:
For this kid with acute stroke at the age of 11, I suggest a complete MR imaging of brain with TOF MRA in the brain and neck. Perfusion brain MR study is also valuable in the decision making. Based on previous non-invasive studies, we can decide whether a cerebral angiograpy is required. If there was a headache or trauma event prior to ischemic stroke attack, an arterial dissection is highly suspected.
