My family and I would like to express our thanks for the attention and quality of your care during the past three weeks.

As you are aware, we have been attempting to find the correct treatments and solutions for our mother and we fully appreciate the assistance that your Department has provided in this regard.

My mother's health condition deteriorated over the past two years or longer, and my sister Hsu Shao-Ling had been taking care of her consultations with Dr Chen at your department alongside Neurologist Dr Wu.  However, during my current visit to Taiwan from Australia, I was able to consult with Dr Chen and Dr Wu to further understand her condition and treatment options.

Both Dr Chen and Dr Wu have been proactive and helpful in their response which assisted us greatly.  A closer examination of her condition required adjustment of medication, and it was stressed that this be maintained and carefully monitored; and we have already seen some improvement.

Further suggestions from Dr Chen regarding the hospitalization and/or the out-patient day care center program have been taken up, and we found that our mother has also been responsive in a positive way.  Your continued assistance and facilitation with my mother's case including close coordination with my sister and regular reporting would be greatly appreciated.

This progress has largely been a result of your professional services.
